If you wanted high drama in Game 6 of Capitals vs. Hurricanes, well then you're getting your wish.

An amazing Alex Ovechkin goal gave the Caps a 2-1 advantage after the first period, but Teuvo Teräväinen tied things up less than two minutes into the second period following a bad Jonas Siegenthaler turnover in the Washington zone.

Neither team scored again in the middle frame, the Caps coming close twice in the closing seconds via John Carlson and Tom Wilson, respectively.

The 2-2 scoreline sets up what should be a fun, terrifying third period, the Caps just 20 minutes away from either advancing to the second round or heading back home for Game 7.

Gird your loins, Caps fans.
