Ever wonder what goes on in a team's draft room during the NFL Draft?

Well, thanks to the Indianapolis Colts, you can. In a rare behind-the-scenes look during the 2019 NFL Draft, the Colts peeled back the current to allow fans to see what goes on when a team goes on the clock.

The video begins when Colts general manager Chris Ballard gets a call from Washington Redskins team president Bruce Allen hoping to swing a deal for the Colts’ first-round pick, the No. 26  overall selection, to draft DE Montez Sweat.

“Doug (Williams) told me you might wanna go down, and if you do, and our guy is still there, we will think of our No. 46, our second (round pick), and a second (round pick) next year,” Allen says to Ballard.

“OK. All right. We’ll get back here in a little bit,” Ballard responds.

After hanging up with Allen, Ballard stands up and talks over the proposed traded with the entire room as Indianapolis goes on the clock following the Baltimore Ravens selection of WR Marquise Brown.

“Everybody good with that?” Ballard says. “Two next year? … If we get (Redskins No.) 46, we’d have (No.) 34, (No.) 46 and then we’d get a two next year. Everybody all right with doing the two twos?"

“I am. Tell them we’ll do it.”

Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds then calls back Allen (first reaching Redskins senior VP of football operations Eric Schaffer) to finalize the deal and the Redskins got their guy at No. 26
