The Washington Nationals are throwing it back... to Montreal.

Stream MLB games now on fuboTV.

No, the team that arrived in Washington for the 2005 season isn't going anywhere, but they will be wearing some old-school threads. The Nats will honor their Canadian origin by wearing the Montreal Expos' 1969 blue uniforms for the first time on July 6.

Former Expos great and Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero is expected to attend, as will other former Montreal players Dave Martinez, Bob Henley, and F.P. Santangelo, but they attend every Nats game already.

According to The Washington Post, the uniforms won't be the only throwback: The Archies' bop "Sugar Sugar," the Billboard No. 1 single for 1969 will be on the playlist and on the scoreboard the Nationals curly 'W' will be inverted to display the  Expos' 'M.'

And of course, there will be specialty food: Poutine at several concessions stands in sections 110, 141, 218, and 318 and Montreal Smoked beef brisket at Steak of the Union (sections 117 and 133).

All that is missing is for the old Expos mascot Youppi! to race and beat the presidents.
