Bryce Harper owes baseball fans nothing more during this All-Star break.

He stole the show on his home field Monday night, seizing Home Run Derby victory as time expired. He represented Washington, D.C., with a level of enthusiasm that has been missing in recent years, and he gave Nats Park another signature moment to remember.

It was the stuff of legends, but it might have only been an appetizer to Tuesday's main course.

According to basketball caricature Dick Vitale, Harper is destined to lead the National League team to victory against the American League:

"My heart really wants the American League to win, being a Rays fan and someone who follows the American League really tough and intense, but my brain tells me, my friends, that the drama and the unbelievable electricity in Washington, D.C. at Nationals Ballpark, is going to spark their local hero, Mr. Harper," Vitale said while showing off random angles of his house, "who last night put on a dramatic show in winning the Home Run Derby. What an electric show that was. His stock really rose."

Vitale then went on to opine about Harper's batting average vs. batting production, surmising that he will end up on the Yankees, and a few other priceless lines. Here are some of the best:

1. "His cash register is obviously going to go ding-a-ling-ding next year, as is his agent, Scot Borris."

2. "Yes, the rich get richer, my friends. It's nice to have cash so you can pay that out."

3. "In all my life, I'm here in the backyard of my beautiful home, I never believed in 'can't.' My parents wouldn't allow me to believe in can't. We grew up in a family with lots of love. One bathroom. Had a lot of love in that house. My mother always told me to chase my dreams."

4. "Get rid of any hate you may have or anger. Don't hold onto any grudges. If you argue with someone, tomorrow is a new day. Set it aside and move on with life."

So, there you have it. Harper will carry the National League to victory, and growing up in a house with one bathroom makes all the difference.
