Adrian Peterson sure knows how to make a first impression.

The Washington Redskins running back made his mark in D.C. by putting on a dominant preseason performance less than three days after signing with the team. That's almost as wild as the first impression he made in Arizona on Day 1 as a Cardinal last season.

At the time, Peterson was coming off of a trade following his disappointing stint with the New Orleans Saints. He didn't like his workload in the Big Easy and wanted to set the tone in his first interaction with the Cards' defensive coordinator, James Bettcher.

Bettcher is now in the same role with the New York Giants and will see Peterson again this Sunday. This was the first request Peterson made of him in the desert:

That seems to fit right in with the persona that Peterson has created in Washington. Here's to many more practice reps.
