After Redskins linebacker Mason Foster's private conversation in which he was critical of fans and the team was leaked, many were quick to jump on the player's back for what they deemed to be inappropriate comments.

In an Instagram direct message, Foster allegedly told a fan: ""F**k this team and this fan base" and "Yeah and I'm not f***in wit it or being a scape goat to make fans feel better about all these big money ppl who ain't playin or getting dogged out."

But 106.7 The Fan's Grant Paulsen saw the conversation only as an upset employee blowing off steam by complaining about his job.

Paulsen is correct to say Foster's comments are hardly the Redskins biggest issue. (Nor are the comments from Foster worse than ones made by Wizards guards Bradley Beal and John Wall.)

"Foster used bad judgment to say those things to someone he doesn't know," Paulsen wrote on Twitter, but "It is the equivalent of you and your colleagues complaining about your gig."
