Another assistant coach is departing Jay Gruden's Washington Redskins coaching staff.

Defensive back coach Torrian Gray has accepted a job to coach cornerbacks at the University of Florida.

Florida head coach Dan Mullen tweeted a welcome to Gray Monday afternoon.

"Obviously, Torrian brings a high level of familiarity with our program and the Southeastern Conference," Mullen said via the school's website. "His track record of preparing players for the NFL and his success coaching at that level speaks for itself. Meanwhile, with his strong recruiting ties to the state of Florida and the fact that he played for (defensive coordinator Todd) Grantham in college will make this transition seamless."

Gray is the third coach to depart Washington this offseason after special teams coordinator Ben Kotwica took over special teams with Atlanta and linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti left to coach linebackers in Green Bay.

106.7 The Fan Redskins reporter Craig Hoffman reported Gray was fired by the Skins earlier in January.
