Wizards guard John Wall is contemplating surgery on an injured heel and could be out for several months, per multiple media reports.

Wall, who saw a foot specialist Saturday in Wisconsin, could miss six-to-eight months if he undergoes the procedure to alleviate "severe pain."

Adrian Wojnarowski reports Wall is "planning to undergo" surgery with doctors recommending "he undergo the surgery soon."

Wall has been dealing with bone spurs in his heel for years, per The Atlethic's Fred Katz.

"It’s really come to a turning point this month," Katz tweeted. "Wall’s been in severe pain at times."

The Wizards, who fell to 13-23 with a loss to the Bulls Friday with Wall on the bench, would be without their all-star point guard for the remainder of the 2018-19 season and possibly part of the 2019-20 season.

Wall's 4-year supermax extension begins next season and will see him make $37.8 million.
