Tim Connelly will not be joining the Wizards front office after all.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Connelly has decided to remain with the Nuggets as their president of basketball operations. The Wizards made him a four-year offer Friday to take over as their team president, but Connelly turned them down to stay in Denver.

Thus, the Wizards' search for a new team president continues. The position has been open since Ernie Grunfeld was fired on April 2 after 16 years on the job.

Per Wojnarowski, Washington's search will now focus in on interim GM Tommy Sheppard, Oklahoma City vice president of basketball operations Troy Weaver, and Danny Ferry.
