Former Redskins linebacker Trent Murphy has signed a three-year deal with the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The three-year deal is valued at $21 million, but Murphy can earn up to $30 million in bonuses. That's an average annual value of $7 million for Murphy, who missed all of 2017 on a torn ACL and PED suspension.

Murphy's last healthy season -- 2016 -- was a career-year. He tallied nine sacks and 29 total tackles.

The 27-year-old pass rusher was a second-round draft pick (Stanford) by the Redskins in 2014.
