The NBA Draft is here!

Listen to your team news NOW.

The Washington Wizards still have not hired a replacement for president of basketball operations Ernie Grunfeld, who was fired some 11 weeks ago, but time waits for no NBA team. And despite some reports of a big money offer to the Raptors' Masai Ujiri, it will be interim Tommy Sheppard making the call for when the Wiz go on the clock at No. 9.

So, who should they take?

"So I'm looking for a three-point shooter, that can protect the basket, and is a great athlete," Eric Bickel of The Sports Junkies said. "Who comes up No. 1, Cakes?"

"I'm gonna guess it is your guy Bol Bol," Johnny "Cakes" Auville responds.

Bol, the son of the late Manute Bol who played for the Washington Bullets for three seasons in the 1980s, played just nine games at Oregon this year before suffering a season-ending foot injury.

Bol represents the new trend of modern basketball: A unicorn-like cheat code. A 7-foot-2 center with guard-like skills.

And with all-star guard John Wall is still a long time away from reaching the court, despite walking without a boot in the past few days, and the Wizards' roster in transition, drafting a young player with lots of potential who needs a bit more seasoning like Bol might be worth the risk.
