Not even 24 hours had gone by since news broke of Bryce Harper's deal with the Phillies before he declared Philadelphia the "greatest city in the world."

At least, according to an Instagram DM shared by Le'Veon Bell, in which Harper appears to be recruiting the running back on behalf of the Eagles.

"Aye come join! Let's take this city by storm," Harper's direct message to Bell reads. "Bring as many titles as we can to the greatest city in the world. Brotherly Love. #SecureTheBag"

If part of that sounds familiar, it's because Harper's said the same thing about Washington, D.C.

If there's anything foreboding to take from this, Harper's declaration of D.C. as "the greatest city Ever!" came merely hours after the Nats were eliminated by the Cardinals in humiliating fashion from the 2012 NLDS.
