The Washington Wizards' G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, are holding a local tryout on Saturday, Sept. 15.

The tryout takes place at Saint Elizabeth's East Sports & Entertainment Arena – located at 2700 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE – where players will participate in drills in front of Go-Go personnel for a chance to be invited to the team's training camp in October. The Go-Go can invite up to five players from the local tryout to training camp.

Registration, which requires a non-refundable $150 entry fee, is already open and accessible here. Players wishing to attend must meet all NBA G League player requirements and complete all steps of the registration process prior to arrival at the Sept. 15 tryout.

Registration closes on Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. Openings are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registered participants will receive a Go-Go jersey for use during the tryout and a complimentary ticket to a Go-Go home game during the 2018-19 season.

While the press release does not mention a time, a 7 a.m. start is listed on the Ticketmaster portal.

It's important to note no parking will be available at the arena the day of the tryout. Players are instructed to take Metro or be dropped off at the arena.
