Redskins running back Derrius Guice is far along in his recovery process from a torn ACL suffered back in the preseason.

The second-round pick in 2018 also looks to be in prime physical condition. Guice snapped a photo with new Redskins teammate Reuben Foster from the workout room.

As a reminder, Foster, despite being on the Commissioner's Exempt list, is allowed to be present at Redskins Park. He just cannot practice with the team or attend games.

Foster was arrested in Tampa a week and a half ago, the night before the 49ers were to play the Buccaneers, on a first-degree misdemeanor charge of domestic violence after allegedly striking his ex-girlfriend. This prompted the 49ers to release Foster the following morning. The Redskins claimed him off waivers days later.

The ex-girlfriend described her account of the incident in an interview with ABC News. In the interview, which aired Thursday morning on "Good Morning America," she described her reaction to the news of Foster being claimed by the Redskins as, "I just couldn't believe somebody picked him up in less than... how many hours? I was shocked."

Redskins president Bruce Allen repeated to ABC News what he told ESPN's Lisa Salters just before the Redskins played the Eagles on Monday Night Football, that the team conducted its own investigation "of sorts" into the incident, and from what they learned, they were convinced there was another side to the story, one that warranted the risk of claiming Foster.

ABC News aired photographs Foster's accuser claims to show wounds inflicted by Foster as a result of the incident. A 106.7 The Fan request for comment from Allen on the matter was declined, with a team spokesman referring to the team's statement last week, which was issued at the time Foster was claimed.

The Redskins have insisted from the beginning, since claiming Foster, they will let the legal process play out, and if the charges prove to be true, Foster will not play for the Washington Redskins.

As for Guice, the running back was ready for the haters to comment on his meek-looking legs, joking, "And yes my legs are still small because ion know. Maybe I tore my knee up a few months ago.. won't be big over night."

And fear not for that scar on Guice's bicep. That's likely from a surgery in 2013 when he was still in high school, so no new injury to report.

Guice remains the best social media follow on the team.
