The Washington Redskins haven't ruled out selecting a quarterback with the 15th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

As part of our ongoing draft coverage, 106.7 The Fan beat reporter Craig Hoffman sat down with Duke offensive coordinator Zac Roper to gain some insight about Daniel Jones, a potential first-round quarterback.

As Craig notes early in the interview, Jones had given a rather dispirited podium session at the Senior Bowl. But that's not who Jones is behind the scenes, Roper assures.

"Public Daniel is not even close to the locker room Daniel," Roper said. "This is a guy that has the locker room. He wouldn't have been a two-time captain if he didn't have the locker room. He's got as much personality – you used the term moxie – he's got as much of that as you need and as you want at the quarterback position."

"The players around him are gonna love him. The coaches are gonna love him. The people in the building are gonna love him," he said. "Wherever he goes, I believe the media in that area is gonna get a feel for really who he is and what he's about. Is he gonna be flashy? You know, I don't think he's ever gonna be that.

"But he's gonna be very professional, he's gonna answer the questions, he's gonna give you the necessary information that you're looking for. He's gonna do well, and whether that's glitz and glamour and all those things, I don't necessarily think that's what it's gonna be, but he's gonna have that locker room and I would think most NFL football players would tell you that's more important than maybe winning the press conference."
