The U.S. women's national soccer team began their 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup run in historic fashion Tuesday, thrashing Thailand 13-0.

However, some were displeased with how the USWNT conducted themselves during the lopsided victory, including all four of The Sports Junkies

"I always defend our country and anything Team USA, but this was a bad look," said Eric "EB" Bickel Wednesday. "It's embarrassing."

"Act like you've been there before," said Jason Bishop. "They're the defending champs!"

"I hate when people refer to Americans as ugly. That was an ugly display," added John "Cakes" Auville. "The opposing team's crying!"

"We all played soccer to some extent," John-Paul "JP" Flaim said. "You just don't do that."

EB went on to criticize how the USWNT celebrated each goal, placing some of the blame on head coach Jill Ellis for how her players acted.

"The correct way to act when you score in a blowout is a little fist bump, maybe, and then just run back quietly," he said. "That's the classy way to act. There are high school teams in this area who know how to act better than that team."

"That's the inmates running the asylum right there. Because a coach with control of that team would say, 'That's fine, we gotta score goals, goal differential. But guys, just run back after you score your 13th.'"
