It's Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Caps lead Vegas 3-1 in the series. Ovechkin can taste the Cup.

Ovechkin's goal from just south of the "office" on a beautiful cross-ice feed from Nick Backstrom gave the Caps the lead for the second time.

It was Ovechkin's 15th goal of the playoffs and third of the series.

Down 3-2 with roughly 12 minutes remaining in regulation, Ovechkin made a mistake at the blue line in the Caps offensive zone. His pass attempt was picked off by Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, who raced down center ice, threatening to make it 4-2 and send the series back to Washington.

Ovechkin didn't sulk. He didn't give up. Instead, he chased Bellemare down and neatly broke up the play without taking a penalty. Minutes later, it was a 3-3 game.

"Ovi's been on a mission," Barry Trotz said during the series.

Mission accomplished.
