Nobody has a 100 percent approval rating in life.

And certainly, that is the case with new Washington Redskins head coach Ron Rivera. But so far, Riverboat Ron seems to be batting 1.000.

During Super Bowl week Christian McCaffrey praised his former coach during an appearance on The Sports Junkies and cornerback James Bradberry, a free agent this offseason, said Rivera is "a great man, first and foremost."

"I would love to play for coach Rivera again," Bradberry told NBC Sports Washington's Redskins Talk podcast. "He's a great man and a great coach.

"He coached me for four years. I didn't realize how much he meant to us until that day (he was fired in Carolina)," he continued. "Just how he spoke to us as men. He wasn't overly aggressive unless he needed to be. He put his foot down when he needed to be."

Bradberry, who was a second-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, played his first four seasons in the league under Rivera with the Carolina Panthers is now an unrestricted free agent. During his time with the Panthers, Bradberry tallied eight interceptions, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and 279 tackles in 60 games.

However, while the cornerback had plenty of good things to say about his former head coach, he wasn't ready to say he was leaving Carolina in the rearview mirror.

"Dream scenario, I would love to continue my career with the Carolina Panthers," he told NBC Sports Washington. "I've been there for four years. One of my closest friends on the team, Shaq Thompson, he's still there. I would love to get to finish the rest of my career alongside him."

But this is still a business: "I'm cool with any team, really," Bradberry added. "Any team that makes that offer that's willing to pay me what I feel like I'm worth, I'm willing to go play for them."

And the Redskins could be one of those teams as they are in desperate need of corners.
