Morgan Wootten, the legendary basketball coach at DeMatha Catholic High School, died earlier this week at the age of 88.

Friday on 106.7 The Fan, The Sports Junkies' Jason Bishop and The Washington Post's John Feinstein told stories about the great coach.

"Morgan was unique," Feinstein told The Junkies. "I never met anybody like him, I never met anybody like him as a coach, I never met anybody like him as a history teacher."

"We could talk for the next three hours about Morgan and tell stories," Feinstein said, "but they would all come back to the same thing: He was one of the greatest coaches at any level ever."

"And, as you know Jason, he was a better person than he was a coach."
