The Junkies mixed it up Friday with their sports-radio counterparts of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas as they have for the past handful of years during Dallas Week.

Missing regular host Shan Shariff, who was away, Friday's version of the 105.3 The Fan morning show consisted of hosts Roy White, Mike Fisher and regular host RJ Choppy.

The crosstalk segment featured the typical playful banter, each show spinning its own view of the Redskins-Cowboys rivalry. One of the Dallas hosts even brought this wacky running gag where he'd refer to Junkies host John Auville – nicknamed 'Cakes' – by a different cake-themed name: "Hey, let's go back to the Gruden-Garrett thing and a question for Pound Cake."

Fun stuff.

The real show started after the two lines disconnected.

Bish: I don't know which one it was that was taking shots at the 'Cakes' name.

JP: I think it was Roy White, because you did a Roy White shot.

Bish: All he was doing was he was on his computer Googling nicknames for Cakes.

Cakes: Tres Leches.

JP: Bunt Cake. Pound Cake.

Valdez: I just want to say this. And so they know, it's not you guys, it's Matt Valdez that's saying this... if your show turns into that, I'm quitting.

Bish: Oh really?

Valdez: Ohhhhh yeah.

Valdez mentioned that he'd started listening in to their show prior to the segment and that it was "just such hack radio," so he played a sample clip for The Junks.

Valdez: I think the people of the D.C. area should be thankful for you guys. And by the way, that's Matt Valdez saying it, not The Junks.

Bish: Oh, jeez. Alright.

JP: Valdez is taking some shots!

Bish: So you're not the biggest Roy White and Mike Fisher fan? Is that what you're saying?

Valdez: Well, they didn't have their normal crew in, and I just... I remember it being a little bit better. It used to go a little more smoothly. Hey, you know what makes a joke funnier? Saying it 10 times again.

Bish: Drabby, what are your thoughts on it?

Drab: I would like the Dallas station to know that that's Matt Valdez, not Matt Cahill – the one you've been talking to the last five years.

The fun starts around the 12:30 mark.
