Washington Redskins tackle Morgan Moses said on 106.7 The Fan it is "50/50" whether left tackle Trent Williams returns to the team his week.

Moses told The Sports Junkies Monday Williams will be ready to play when he rejoins the Redskins.

"He's doing well," Moses said on The Fan. "I know one thing, he's in the best shape he's ever been, he's told me. So when he does get the call and when he does come back, man, he'll be ready to roll."

DeAngelo Hall, the former Redskins defensive back who has been in contact with Williams during the holdout, was asked Friday if the left tackle will return to the Redskins this season.

"Yes, Redskins fans, yes. I think at some point Trent Williams is back in that building," Hall said on NFL Network. "I think he's back as part of that football team, I think he's out there helping protect whoever the quarterback is, if it's Case Keenum if it's Dwayne Haskins later in the season."

"I think they come back because Trent's smart enough to understand at the end of the day if they're not forcing him, er, if they're not gonna allow for him to be traded, correct? He has to play somewhere. He has to get this season under his belt. Maybe he comes back in the offseason, in January, February, and says 'Hey I still want to be traded, let's see if we can come to an agreement.'"

When asked about whether Williams will feel comfortable returning to the training room, Hall said, "I don't know if he walks back into that training room, but I know he walks back in that locker room and is a part of that football team this season."

Moses said the Redskins can't replace a player of Williams' quality, but added: "He's his own business."

"Everybody looks at us as NFL players, but at the end of the day, this guy, he's his own business, his body is his business," Moses said Monday. "Without him taking care of his body he wouldn't be able to do what he does in the last nine, 10 years in the league."

Hall, who has used the phrase "sooner rather than later" to describe Williams' return, did not offer a specific date.

"What week (will he return)? We don't know, we've heard whispers about maybe Week 2. We've heard whispers about maybe later on. I know he comes back before Week 10 because he has to get that season in. I think we all know that part of the game plan. So, we'll see exactly when that is, though. I'm constantly in communication with him, though, so I told him he's gotta let me know first."
