Bryce Harper meets with San Francisco Giants

Adam Hagy-USA TODAY Sports
Bryce Harper met with representatives of the San Francisco Giants earlier this week, 106.7 The Fan's Grant Paulsen has confirmed.
"I can confirm this did indeed happen," Paulsen said on Grant & Danny Wednesday. "Harper did in fact meet with the Giants."
Per Paulsen, members of San Francisco's ownership and general manager Farhan Zaidi were at the meeting with Harper.
The Giants getting in on Bryce Harper makes a lot of sense. That means all three NL, California teams have now met with the slugger. Giants ownership and GM were involved in meeting. Harper's market growing late but is the money climbing?

News of Harper's meeting with the Giants follows reports one or more "mystery teams" had expressed interest in the free agent slugger. Per The Fan's Chris Russell, up to nine teams could now be in on the Harper sweeptstakes.
Can absolutely confirm that Bryce Harper met with the #SFGiants as @JonHeyman & @RandyJMiller mentioned.
The meeting was Monday night in Las Vegas w/ several executives from the #Giants. The belief is now up to 9 teams have expressed interest/checked in on Harper. @1067theFan

Jon Heyman was first to report the meeting with the Giants took place.
The #SFGiants recently met with Bryce Harper. Extent of interest on team’s part not known, but they did try hard for Stanton last winter. Multiple new teams emerged in last week or two.
