The Washington Nationals have announced their 25-man roster for the franchise's first NLCS against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The series begins with Games 1 and 2 in St. Louis before returning to Nats Park. Friday night will see the Nats start Aníbal Sánchez vs. the Cardinals' Miles Mikolas, with the Game 2 matchup of Max Scherzer vs. Adam Wainwright. The NL Central champions are projected to start Jack Flaherty and Dakota Hudson in the following games.

When To Watch: Nats-Cards NLCS Schedule

Washington has yet to announce starters for when the series comes to Washington. The Nationals' full NLCS roster:

Patrick Corbin, Sean Doolittle, Roenis Elias, Javy Guerra, Tanner Rainey, Fernando Rodney, Anibal Sanchez, Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg, Wander Suero, Austin Voth

Kurt Suzuki, Yan Gomes

Matt Adams, Asdrubal Cabrera, Brian Dozier, Howie Kendrick, Anthony Rendon, Trea Turner, Ryan Zimmerman

Paternity List: Daniel Hudson

Daniel Hudson's absence is the big surprise here. Away on paternity leave, Hudson can be away from the club between 1-3 days and can be added to the roster when he's ready.

Hudson will likely rejoin the Nats in St. Louis for Game 2 on Saturday.

Victor Robles has missed the past three postseason games with a hamstring injury but is on the Nats' NLCS roster. GM Mike Rizzo says Robles will be available as a pinch-hitter in Game 1.

Here's the Cardinals' NLCS roster:

John Brebbia, Genesis Cabrera, Jack Flaherty, Giovanny Gallegos, Ryan Helsley, Dakota Hudson, Carlos Martinez, Miles Mikolas, Andrew Miller, Daniel Ponce De Leon, Adam Wainwright, Tyler Webb

Matt Carpenter, Paul DeJong, Tommy Edman, Paul Goldschmidt, Yairo Munoz, Kolten Wong
