He is still 20 years old, but Juan Soto has already taken ownership of baseball's biggest stage.

In Game 1 of the World Series, the Washington Nationals outfielder went 3-4 with a home run, a double and three runs batted in to lead the Nats to a 5-4 comeback win over the Houston Astros.

And some of the players at the Nationals' Dominican Academy went wild watching the former academy product smack a two-run double off Astros ace Gerrit Cole to give the Nationals a three-run lead in the top of the fifth.

And while Nats hitting coach Kevin Long predicted a Soto home run, he may have had a big inside scoop that going out to left field was on Soto's mind all along.

Of course, this isn't the first time the youngsters in Soto's native Dominican Republic have had something to cheer about.
