Nationals top prospect Victor Robles looked to have suffered an apparent arm injury in Monday's Triple-A Syracuse game in Rochester.

Robles, the No. 6 overall prospect in baseball, was attempting to make a diving catch in center field when he landed awkwardly on his left arm, which flopped around as he rolled over. He appeared to reach for his left wrist after the play, and exited the game thereafter in the second inning.

As rough as the landing appeared, Robles may have dodged a bullet. Initial X-rays came back negative, Jamal Collier reported, but Robles traveled to D.C. Tuesday for further evaluation with team doctors.

Nats manager Dave Martinez had no update by the time he spoke with reporters Tuesday afternoon, although he was aware the injury had occurred.

For now, it seems Robles did not injure his shoulder or elbow, per Jorge Castillo.
