Doug Williams knows defensive line is the Redskins' deepest position group, acknowledging as much in his pre-draft press conference on Monday.

But the Senior VP of Player Personnel also said the Redskins may not pass on a top d-line talent who falls to them. That same thought could be applied in later rounds of the draft.

Originally projected as a fourth-round selection coming into the combine, Old Dominion edge rusher Oshane Ximines, who ran the 40 in 4.78 seconds, is quickly rising on draft boards throughout the league. The Redskins possess three picks between rounds two and three, where a prospect like Ximines could be appealing.

As part of our ongoing draft coverage, 106.7 The Fan beat reporter Craig Hoffman spoke to the prospect on the rise.
