The Nationals have an agreement in place to sign free agent left-handed pitcher Patrick Corbin, as first reported by Chelsea Janes of The Post.

The six-year deal is reportedly worth $140 million ($23.3 million AAV).

It was reportedly a three-horse race – down to just the Nats, Yankees and Phillies – to land Corbin.

The 29-year-old went 11-7 with a 3.15 ERA, 256 strikeouts and a 5.13 strikeouts-per-walk ratio for the Diamondbacks in 2018.

Corbin is a two-time All-Star (2013, 2018) and finished fifth in Cy Young voting in the NL last season.

The Diamondbacks made Corbin a qualifying offer, so the Nationals will lose their second-round pick.
