Adrian Peterson underwent an MRI on his strained shoulder Tuesday, and all signs indicate he won't have to miss any games.

Peterson injured his shoulder in the second quarter of the Redskins' loss to the Saints Monday night. He described it as a dislocation afterwards, but it appears that's a scarier description than it actually is.

Limited by the injury, Peterson had his worst game of the season at New Orleans, rushing just four times for six yards and catching two passes for 36 yards.

However, Peterson should have the opportunity to get back to his best against Carolina on Sunday, barring any unforeseen setbacks.
