There's plenty of overlap between the Virginia Tech and Redskins fan bases, and thus the region was generally elated with the Hokies' dominant 24-3 victory over the Florida State Seminoles Monday night.

One person not elated? Chris Thompson.

The Redskins running back and FSU alum played for the Seminoles from 2009-12, scoring a touchdown against Tech in the 2010 ACC Championship Game, which the Hokies won 44-33.

Now teammates with several former Hokies, Thompson expressed his fear of what's to come when the Redskins convene for practice Wednesday.

"I got 65 VT players on my team. Wednesday is gonna be scressful," Thompson tweeted Monday night.

65 is extreme hyperbole. There are only three Tech alums currently on the Redskins roster: Adonis Alexander, Greg Stroman and Tim Settle.

But it could very well feel like 65 if the former Hokies decide to gloat and trash talk to the max on Wednesday. Stroman in particular seemed pumped out by the lopsided win.
