Kyshoen Jarrett is now a full-time Redskins coach.

Jarrett, a former Redskins defensive back who suffered a career-ending injury at the end of the 2015 season, was named Washington's defensive quality control coach Tuesday.

Determined to stay in football despite the injury, Jarrett was hired by the Redskins as a defensive intern in 2018. And now, he's earned a promotion.

"Kyshoen was a valuable asset to our coaching staff last season,” Jay Gruden said in the team's release. “He is a quality coach and a quality person and I have complete trust in him succeeding in this new role.”
