Tackling seems to be a lost art in the modern National Football League.

Fortunately for the Washington Redskins, new inside linebackers coach Rob Ryan is here.

And Ryan is showing the Skins the proper way to tackle during practice Monday.

"Drive him!" Ryan yells, "Put it down! Put it down!"

Well, that is something.

The part when Ryan has the defender continue to chop his feet while he straddles the tackling dummy is, well, something.

Is this a thing that normally happens at practice at the professional level? This looks like a high school-type drill.

But then again, with the limited amount of contact in modern NFL practices, hitting and driving something to the ground is surely worth the old-school drill.
