Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan, scratched from Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers with a concussion, will miss the first game of his nine-year NFL career.
This ends Kerrigan's incredible of consecutive games played at 139. Kerrigan, since being selected 16th overall by Washington in 2011, hadn't missed a single game in his career, starting all 139 of them.
Other noteworthy Redskins inactives include running back Wendell Smallwood, which signals the return of Chris Thompson, who has missed the past five games with a turf toe injury he suffered during Washington's Week 6 win over Miami.
