Dez Bryant is a free agent, released on Friday by the Dallas Cowboys.

Bryant says it's now "personal" between he and his former team. He even alluded to playing the Cowboys twice a year, implying he hopes to land elsewhere in the NFC East.

While Bryant's future remains up in the air, Tiki Barber says he should sign with the Redskins.

"I gotta be honest Dukes, I would go get Dez Bryant if I'm the Washington Redskins," Barber told Chad Dukes of 106.7 The Fan on Monday. "I know they don't want him, but I would, because he's going to bring an attitude, and he's going to bring a 'I've got something to prove' to himself and to this team, and it may just be what they need."

"Now, it will fall into the cliche of what the Redskins always do, get an aged vet who doesn't have it any more and he doesn't pan out," added Barber. "But I think Dez is a little bit different case than some of the ones over the history of the Washington Redskins franchise."

The 29-year-old receiver is a three-time Pro Bowler, but hasn't crossed the 1,000-yard threshold since 2014. In 2017, Bryant -- who started all 16 games -- caught 69 balls for 838 yards and six touchdowns.
