There are bad ceremonial first pitches, then there are BAD ceremonial first pitches. The first pitch for Tuesday's night White Sox-Royals game fell into the BAD category.

A White Sox employee of the month got to throw out the first pitch Tuesday night, but instead of hitting the catcher's glove or even home plate, the ball flew straight into the lens of photographer Darren Georgia's camera.

But don't worry: Georgia still got the shot!

Tuesday night's wayward toss will go down as one of the worst ceremonial first pitches in history, up there with the bounce pass Wizards point guard John Wall threw to then-Nationals pitcher Drew Storen in 2011.

At least Wall can't hit, either.
