The Wizards on Monday traded Jodie Meeks, along with cash considerations and a protected second-round pick, to the Bucks in exchange for a protected second-round pick.

The Wizards had signed Meeks to a two-year, $6.74 million contract ahead of last season. That deal included a player option for the 2018-19 season, which Meeks promptly exercised.

Meeks was suspended 25 games in April, preventing him from appearing on the Wizards' postseason roster, for violating the league's anti-drug program after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

Meeks averaged 6.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 14.5 minutes in 77 games for the Wizards in 2017-18.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Bucks will waive Meeks.

But what you really came here for is the reaction, and the early returns... not good.
